Our handmade 16 pane garage doors are crafted with air dried oak. The frame work is 95 mm x 44 mm with 29 mm back rails and bracing. This is finished with a traditional style 15 mm x 112 mm (nominal) tongued and grooved board. All Joints are traditional mortise and tennon joints with a hardwood peg dowel for strength
When sanded our doors are ready for painting either by you or we can offer a full service of getting your product finished and sprayed. We would highly recommend for the perfect finish. After all you are buying a garage doors to last so why not have a paint job to match!
We offer your doors fully made to measure, so do not hesitate to ask for a different size.
We have a selection of options for you to choose from, we can also match any paint with a RAL number. These leave a beautiful finish once applied. If you would like anything not in the options please feel free to contact us regarding the finish.
If you choose to treat your own garage doors please be advised that all our gates no matter what timber its manufactured from needs treating prior to being hung. This ensures that all the garage door is treated and sealed properly. This includes any lock cut outs and behind all the ironmongery.

We recommend hanging all side hung garage doors on a hook and band hinges. These will be included in our garage door fitting pack. They come in a choice of black and galvanised. Or if preferred we can get stainless steel. The packs include everything you will need for hanging your garage doors to the wooden frame. This includes a drop bolt, a tower bolt for the top and mortise lock and handles. Depending on the kit you choose.
